Why can’t I open these doors and pull all the pretty cards, photos and papers out? Why, Mom??!!
This is the reaction I get every time Avery opens cabinet doors in the office and I tell her “no”. Devastation. Maybe someday I’ll let her go to town in there, but for now, I’ll stick with capturing this very sad, but still adorable, face.
Today Abby asked me to type an e-mail to Daddy for her. Here is what she wrote.

I love you, Daddy. When do you think I can earn ten Mickey marbles? Me and Mommy were exercising. When do you think you'll come back? But I think I know that you are going to be home in time to tuck me in. I love you, Daddy. I will love you forever and ever. This is from Abby. That is it.

She also asked that I type an e-mail to John to wish him a happy birthday. This was what she dictated.

Johnny,
Happy birthday. I wish we could come. But we are almost ready to exercise and I'm coloring a picture for Daddy and you too. I love you. This is from Abby. To all of you too (Ella, Owen, Johnny, Missy). I hope I can come there soon. I'm sorry I didn't stay overnight. But, it was so funny when Ella tooted on the bed and she said I'm a turtle after she did that.
Love,
Abby
